I think it depends on the girl and how deeply she connects with her friends. I am a very open person and have some friends who are open enough as to talk with me about it. We are never too detailed, but can freely speak about it. I do think guys are more open about it than girls though (even if with guys it's more bragging while girls are talking seriously and asking each other for advice).

It's not like it's a regular thing to talk about in my friend group, more like part of talking about relationships, which we actually talk fairly frequently about (almost every time).
