Yes, I prefer only men older than me, the gap may be 10, 20, 30 years if I like him, the age doesn’t matter. I’m not like people my age in terms of intelligence and life goals, I get bored with young guys. Mature men are ofter interesting to chat with, they can share their experience and protect you when needed. I can support him and give a joy of youth, we will overcome obstacles together. I wish there were more mature men who’re single and have good intentions to me around 😔

I don’t know why I like this girl at work but it’s the age gap that hurts me inside. I want to approach her but I’m just staying quiet because I don’t want to make things awkward, I’d rather see her to do well in uni, then worry about my feelings for her. You should definitely try to make a contact with her, ask her about interests, go for coffee. Perhaps she’s like me and also likes men older. If you didn’t give it a chance, you and her would probably miss happy moments you could have. Just be more confident, people in their 20s now don’t see age gap is like a tragedy. Just try to approach her, she may feel as lonely as I am. You may be happy together, don’t lose time and don’t listen to stereotypes. Here’s the thing, she works with me, there’s a guy who she was dealing with who works in the same place but he quit and moved to another country. On the last day before he quit, I asked him if he’s coming back and he said maybe almost a decade later. I don’t want to put the moves on her because it hasn’t even been a month. The thing about her is she’ll make small work talk, she’ll say hiii with a smile on her face, she’ll ask about little job tasks that aren’t relevant…so I think to myself is she just being work friendly 🤔 or is she showing some sort of signs. I mean she seems friendly with everyone at work, she won’t talk to everyone or try to chat with everyone. Maybe I come off as a easy going, trusting, unique guy with what I wear, how I talk, how I conduct myself, I dunno. But because I’m older I know how it feels to be that age. And I don’t want to mess with her feelings, I don’t want any ounce of hurt or sorrow or anger in her heart on my end. I’m just trying to be respectful/friendly with her at work. I remember walking by her and saying good night and she says my name and something else in the softest tone. I don’t know man 🙄

I do have good intentions, im not looking for a hook up. I could have done that in my teens or 20s and never did. Of course, if I could find a young woman also in her 30s then I would pursue her as well. But women in their 30s are either taken or don't care about being with anyone and she prefers her single life and her career. The main thing is if I have a chemistry with someone younger.

In regards to 35 and 20 year old , anyone can be with anyone , but generally speaking I do think in this society a lot of people would find it weird because 20 is quite young (she’s just become an adult recently ) but no judgement

@marshmallowcream end of the day society isn’t paying my bills. If she feels odd about it, I would stop pursuing her, I probably wouldn’t talk to her again either. Not because I feel jaded or rejected. I just don’t see any point chatting with her.
