Today at work I was talking to my one male boss and another co worker who likes him yelled over to him and was talking to him and I was wondering if?

What did she yell to him about? If it was seemed like a non urgent matter, you could be right that she was competing for his attention. Does she think that you like him too or something? Maybe a little context to the situation would help.

Does this coworker of yours do this a lot or is this the first time you have noticed her doing that? I would say that would be a good indicator as well. If she does this all the time when he is talking to female coworkers, could be that she just doesn't want anyone to have his attention but her.

Also, if whatever she was on about was not important or urgent, that would be another sign. Normal people would just wait until the conversation is over. I would have to lean more towards her not wanting others to have his attention.

And then I said to the resident I hope you have a great day ma’am.
