Should a boss hang out with one of his employees? My one boss hung out with this guy who he supervises and they played basketball? No rude comments?

My office buddies (men and women) often met after work for drinks and sometimes dinner. Some of us would also go to lunch together. Perfectly okay, and it builds teamwork.

There's no rule against playing sports outside of work with a work peer. It is quite common in soccer etc...
