Why does it mean when a girl wear a ring on her left finger index?

Hi guys, I am actually quite curious about this.. there this girl I hangout with for a few times alone together. I notice she been wearing this gold plain ring at her left index finger, not to her friends but to me only I notice. Is there a meaning behind it?

Depends on who you ask. A quick search engine search turns up a lot of "meanings" for the different fingers. Some say that it symbolizes unmarried. Others said that it had no meaning at all. So, it is likely that she means nothing by this.

It is a piece of jewelry that she liked and happens to fit that finger. Resizing rings sometimes isn't worth it. She may have liked the style, material or whatever and it only fit that finger.

I wouldn't think too much into this. If you really are that curious, ask her about it. Just say "I noticed that ring. It looks nice. Any reason you wear it on that finger?". None of us are going to be able to accurately guess what her thoughts were when picking it out or what finger she puts it on.

My guess is there is no reason and don't worry about it.
