That is a huge age difference. It is two people in completely different stages of life. Even if it did work out and there weren't many issues, I would question the motive and the kind of person you have to be to date someone half your age.

I mean if the motive is, settling down, finding a genuine person. This question relates to me. I know it says 25-29 as anom. But I’m in grad school finishing up and have a full time job. In my 20s I pursued girls in their 20s but I was younger, skinny, immature. Now I’m more established, I’m working out and in better shape, mentally and physically feel better then in my 20s. Britney Spears for example is 12 years older then her husband, Kate Upton is 9-10 years younger with her husband, Houston Astros pitcher Justin Verlander. Yes, I’m not going to lie it is a big age gap. I prefer a girl to be around same age to at most maybe 7 years younger then or a few years older then me. But I got scorned by girls and was told to my face I’m not good enough. I was a loyal guy back then and I’m a loyal guy now. I was just more shy and timid in my 20s where girls may have been interested and having sex but I was nervous just to be in the same room as a girl. Times have changed. Although I’m in my 30s people think I look like I’m in my 20s. It’s frustrating because I have genuinely tried, in university, at work, been apart of on campus clubs, used dating apps, gone to weddings to meet girls. Many girls I’ve talked to from back in the day were immature also, it never worked out but I can’t be at fault for that. Of course I want to be with a girl in her 30s but young women nowadays at that age either don’t care about guys or she’s married. I lost either way, that’s why I’m pursuing girls even in their mid-to-late 20s.

My sister told me in the car today before posting this question if you have a 17 yr age gap with a girl that’s too much. Meanwhile I accept others. My sister was is with a Black guy, my mom didn’t accept it since we’re brown we try to be traditional and marry people of our own culture. Every girl in this post is saying noo that’s too old. I’m basically fucked. Because women in their 30s either want to be single or they are taken or they won’t like me based on their preferences. And if all y’all girls on here are like ew 17 years is too much I can’t find anyone my age then.

I won’t find. Either I’m too old or I won’t find. When I was in my 20s I was too shy and timid to talk to
Girls now I can and have confidence. People will talk shit who ever I’m with and the girl I’m with be influenced to dump my ass even if I’m a good husband or good boyfriend.
