What does it mean when girls twirl their hair and play with it ?

cause there's a girl that take a class with me and when I enter the class we have a quick eye contact, it happened more than twice, she sits 2 rows in front of me and 2 columns to the right, and during the lecture she twirls her hair and plays with it and stuff.

so is she trying to me make me notice her more or anything?

It could either be:

1) Just a habbit

2) She's shy and excited around you because she likes you

But sure it could be true..that she likes you :)

I play with my hair when my hands are idle and I'm bored. It means nothing.

well if she does that only when she knows you are there ,then yea she is trying to make you notice her ! but watch her anywhere else maybe she plays with her hair most of time like all girls do
