This is your call but if it was me: next time I saw her I would call her name moving lips without volume. Then can you hear me same without volume. Go right to her ear and say name aloud..."I learned last time that you're deaf".-All that in her ear. Grab her hand, grasp it, and kiss that area and neck. 20 seconds back off and say, "I don't think you need a hearing aid". Fun is important !!!
Hold tight and see if she twists all up in some kind of way or steps towards you.
