If a guy looks at a girl's face and she holds back a smile and eventually smiles to herself, what does it mean?

I was at work in the office. I made eye contact with a girl who is a co-worker for about 3 seconds. She returned eye contact and tried her best to hold back a smile. However, she couldn't control and smiled to herself. How does she feel?

It could mean just about anything but my guess is that she smiles to herself because she knows that the guy is interested in her.

My first thought if that would happen to me would be

"I knew it that I should not have looked at that guy. Now he thinks that I am interested in him. Why does this happen to me all the time?".

She is simply smiling to herself because she did expect that kind of reaction and the smile she gives herself is just a confirmation of her assumption.

Don't overthink it because there is nothing much to it.

It’s hard to say but she was processing the possibility. A continued smile is a good sign. A side-side head shake or frown is a bad sign. She’s considering it and I would think a positive.
Negative reaction is clear. Anything else reaction is a “move forward” for me
