I'm somewhere in the middle and would prefer my partner to be the same. What does being masculine mean anyway? Is he going to go and fight in the war?
I would say things like taking the lead, being protective, assertive, independent, dominant, capable, directive etc.
Both sexes can exhibit these traits but I would say a masculine person would exhibit more masculine traits and less feminine traits like sensitivity, surrender, nurturing, etc.
There's also masculine traits what modern society views as bad or toxic such as aggression, control, possessiveness, etc.
I ask this question because I am a masculine man, hypermasculine in some cases and I find myself more drawn to feminine women. And it tends to be the case that they are drawn to me. But I also find that both balanced and what I would peg as masculine women also enjoy my presence as it gives them room to be feminine - in their words. So it's out of interest that I poll this.
Not feminine, don't want to find him in my clothes
No I meant how would you describe yourself as being. Not him.
I don't know, what ever the guy I like is. Not worried about encouraging other men.
