I suck at this, I'm generally quite a chummy somewhat touchy feely person, and I feel like I give off the wrong signals as the amount of male friends I've had to suddenly come on to me is ridiculous now and not once had I realised before hand.
Things I do different from friends to crushes is:
- I try to touch their arms/hands more, I'm a huggy person so like to greet in side hugs or full frontal hugs (if it's a friend it'll last 4 secs max, if it's a crush I'll try to get away with 10-20 and a weird quirk but I'd try to inconspicuously smell them)
- I tend to start off gentle flirting, maybe slight innuendos jokes (that's what s/he said), to maybe saying I liked them
- I smile and I tend to blush a lot if I like a guy, especially if he were to compliment me. It might be a bit more awkward if I didn't like a guy (as I'd immediately go shit does he like me)
- I'd pay more attention look into his eyes more, maybe check out the lips fantasise a little 🤣, whereas if he's just a friend I might grab my phone, look at other people every so often
From experience, I can tell you that there is no "super nice".
If a person acts "super nice", it is because he/she
1) want something from you
2) acted or did something that requires an aplogoy
3) she/he is into no good
4) he/she is interested in you and seeks your attention
Unless you recall having done something to aggravate that person or if you know that she is apologetic about something, it is more likely the case #4.
You should simply ask her the reasons why she acts like that. Was she always behaving this way or is it just recent?
Just as the anonymous person states, look out for those signs. You may receive a denial at first if you ask her for the reasons she is nice to you. Does she react the same with others or just with you?
If it is just with you, then you may deduct that she has some interest in you. Be cautious because it may not be as innocent as you may think (or want to be).
When a girl is nice that means she is just a nice girl most likely. But pay attention on how she is with other guys, is she really nice to everyone? Only you? Is she a flirt with all the guys? Pay attention to how she behaves around people. She could possibly just be a flirt. But there are no tell all signs, just be observant of her behavior and when you feel confident enough that she likes you, take it to the next level, like making small talk
Look out for physical touch, starting at you, asking you to hang out, excess smiling and speaking to you directly. If a joke is said, she will look to see if you laugh. She will also give her full attention to you when others are talking or when you speak.
You need better signals than that to know what is happening here.
