What's the biggest aged gap between yourself and a partner/friends with benefits?
Mine is about a year difference between myself and my fiancé. He is a year older than I am. Not that it would bother me if he were younger or there was more of an age difference. I am with him for who he is, not his age.
I believe you need to be with someone that is of the same maturity and has the same values that you want in a relationship. So long as you share common goals/desires, age shouldn't be much of a thing (within reason).
As for friends with benefits, I don't do that sort of arrangement. Never have, never will. So, I don't know what I would find acceptable since it isn't a possibility to me. Thinking about it though, I would say there would be more flexibility in that sort of relationship/arrangement than say a serious relationship where you are working towards possible marriage or a family.
