Why is she strategically hiding and unhiding Instagram stories/highlights?

A girl I have shown interest in keeps hiding her stories and unhiding them when she posts specific things, such as something I've spoken to her irl about or family.

I'm aware that doing so puts her stories in the front of the queue, but I'm not sure if it's specifically me. It seems ridiculous that she would do it for all her followers.

It's impossible for me to know if she's doing this for every post or person but I can only think of one reason; for the attention/ego. If it is just me, and she wants me to initiate a convo whenever I do speak with her it feels like a one-way street. So I'm confused af.

Usually, i'd laugh at this but for some people social media runs their life. I just find it bizarre and I'm someone who'll ask always ask why. Figured the internet may have some ideas before I inevitably confront her about it.
