A friend (F) out of nowhere showed me a picture of a random girl and asked what I thought of her/rate her. Why did she asked me that?

In addition of the question above, she sends me random senseless messages or asks for my opinion on very important stuff, but when I check them, most are either: already deleted and says not to worry about it; gives me an excuse to evade the topic at hand and replies me more random stuff (memes, videos, etc); an excuse to talk to me for a minute or two and after she leaves me on read.

Some of my friends believe the girl is just shy and wants to talk to me, some believe she has a love interest and her nervs cause her to talk nonsense, and others believe she wants to keep the friendship with me but doesn't know what to say and tries everything she can to keep it. Im an easy-going fella when speaking to my friends and in any case, but sometimes I ask myself what is going on in this girl's mind, even if asking but I get no answer and makes me anxious lol. I'm just curious about this bevahior, it's a first.

For the first question I would probably say that she’s trying to get a sense into what kind of girls you’re interested in (this might mean she’s into you but she also may be asking for a friend). Also if she texts you all the time asking you questions or whatever maybe she’s trying to make small talk but then overthinks when you don’t answer quickly.
