I would say yes if crazy and silly is meant in a playful not a pervert manner.
Silly obviously yes and if it comes with affection also?
Yes then for sure. Since we guys are more than often shy too at first we need to know that we can trust a woman. It´s a sign that he´s comfortable around you.
Would you drive down to see a girl you like who lives in a different part of the city without committing to her? If yes, why? And just assume there is no intercourse involved.

Yes I would. Why? Because I would do it for a lot of friends since I like them being around. I don´t need sex to figure out if I like a girl/woman or not. I need to spend time with a person and if there is a good connection and we share some hobbies and values then I could do nearly everything with a person and still have a good time.
