I have a mild case of Asperger’s. I recently saw my therapist for treatment for depression and anxiety and she said I was feeling so depressed about everything in my life working out because I’m an Aspie and it’s basically an emotional overload. Having a new job, because it’ll change my routine.
Do all Aspies get upset by routine changes?

My “adjust to change” face looks a lot like anger. When I find out about a change my brain redoes all the scheduling adjustments and resource changes and the calls I have to make to account for the change.

Depends on how much of a change it is. But generally not.
Like new jobs, moving house or moving countries.
Those all sound like a bit much
Ask a doctor or psychiatrist.
Apparently I do, even though I’m mild, but I don’t know if it upsets all Aspies.
