How do women perceive honest men who defend the weak against bullies?

Ladies if you see a man stand up to a bully who's verbally abusing a weaker man or woman how do you perceive the man who stands up and defends the weak.

This is something I've always wondered about. There have been times I wanted to go punk some dude for being an asshole to people and my woman will talk me out of doing it. She'll even agree with me that the dude is out of line... but won't let me do anything.

Like, is that what women do with each other? They just keep their mouths shut when a bitch is being a bitch to some chick and they're just glad their not the target of that bitch.

Scares me... I'm going to get old and weak one day and some asshole is going to just be able to punk me for no reason. Like a blast back to the High School days when my little prepubescent self had to deal with bullies that grown full beards, look like they were jacked on steroids, and already have a giant pickup truck. ... they were complete with going bald in High School and everything. And nobody with better sensibility will check em.

The problem here is you're worrying too much about how women perceive what you do. Be a good man, irregardless of what women see in you. Because frankly, women are often not very good judges of character, which is why the age old saying "Nice guys finish last" exists. Be a good man for you, and standing up for those that cannot stand up for themselves, is what good men do. Truly good men don't do whats right for fame of any kind, they simply do it because it's the right thing to do. The moment you consider how women view you when it comes to your character, is the moment that character become disingenuous.

I guess they like them? Women like heros right? So there was this bully right? But he was a smart bully. He had a gang of bullies. So he would use to send his goons to bully then appeared as a hero to rescue them. While winning them over. So his goons played bad cop and he played good cop and that way he was the hero.
