Why are some men so threatened by independent and strong women?

There are a select few of men who are intimidated by a strong independent woman because they are themselves on the weak and dependant end of the spectrum.

However it is my observation that such men are a very small minority, and women who are strong and capable of being independent are generally admired. Would I see more frequently is that people generally dislike obnoxious people, which is what women who are noisy and make a fuss about being "strong and independent" typically are.

In general, men are not threatened or intimidated by strong and independent women. It's just an excuse some women use to explain their inability to attract good men. It's a scapegoat.

Men are not threatened by "independent and strong" women any more than women are threatened by soft and effeminate men. We just don't find them attractive.

Women are attracted to masculinity just like men are attracted to femininity. If a man is going to behave a like woman, he shouldn't expect to be attractive to most women. Likewise, if a woman is going to behave like a man, it should come as no surprise to her when most men are not attracted to her.

This is not rocket science. It has nothing to do with being "threatened" and everything to do with natural human attraction. Stop looking for excuses to blame men for your inability to attract a good one. The problem is you, not men.
