What does “You thought you was cute” mean?

Was driving with my friend I was seating in the passenger seat and I seen a girl I recognized we just briefly made eye contact as the car drove pasted her but she recognized me as well. After this I texted her “Where you going” and she responded with “You thought you was cute”. I’ve heard this before but I don’t really understand what it really means I never intended to try to look cute i simply just made a hand gesture when I seen her and that’s it. In conclusion i’m thinking she must’ve thought I looked good and was full of myself which isn’t the case cause i’m insecure as FUCK what do you guys deduce

I’d take that as, “You thought I was interested in you?”


Like a soft rejection, or a sh*t test.


If you were interested, she was going to make you work for it.


You’d need to demonstrate your game and charm her until the tables turn and she feels attracted to you.



So, yeah. Just playing hard to get, and seeing if you can impress her by the way you pass her sh*t test.
