Do guys struggle with body image as much as girls do?

I don't know what girls problems are. Almost any girl could get a guy to have sex at the drop of a hat, most guys aren't nearly as picky as the women are. Almost no woman has to be alone if she doesn't want to be and unless she is really unattractive or overweight most girls will have guys finding her attractive.

I don't know why they are so uptight about their bodies. Just don't get fat and you're usually gold. Instead they are out getting operations and fake boobs and lip injections, nose jobs, tattoos, piercings... etc.

I don't know what in the hell they are thinking.

All girls have to do is not be fat and don't ruin themselves with tattoos and short unnatural hair colors.

Guys have to be tall (even though they can't change their height), strong, athletic/work out, etc. There are actually HIGHER expectations for guys physical appearance than girls. The majority of guys will date girls that look like a 5 or higher, where as the majority of girls will only date guys that are a 7 or higher in looks.

Sure, for men it’s usually less about not feeling slim enough, and more about not feeling muscular enough.

I think that we deal with it differently and for girls/women it’s probably worse. Women become more depressed about it I think, and they engage in more unhealthy behaviours. Some starve themselves which is obviously bad, while others binge eat “comfort food” to make themselves feel better. Guys just become obsessed with going to the gym, which only becomes unhealthy once they start using steroids.

I think they do, but not to the extent of girls. It hits us once in awhile and then we say, oh well, and move on. Much bigger fish to fry.
