What does it mean when someone tells you they are like a vampire?

Literally someone has told me this, but I never understood what they fully meant by that. I know it is a self-deprecating phrase but what does it really mean when someone acts like a vampire? Any examples from your own life?

Would assume its a self-depreciating joke about their habits. Possibly being up late, not being in the sun often, colder than average body to the touch, never visiting someone unless explicitly invited, a fixation with neck-kisses?

Its really just down to the context. Most likely is just as a joke about their sleeping pattern.
