Girls, how can I avoid tan lines while sunbathing?

You can't, nor should you tan. That can lead to serious problems later in life, including skin cancer. Because of my skin type, I do not really darken. Then again, I don't allow myself to be exposed for long periods, even if I am on holiday at the the beach.

It isn't good for you. I always have a wrap, a big floppy hat and sit under an umbrella. The only time I get any sort of sun is if I am swimming in a pool or ocean. I do not do that for long periods of time, so my exposure is minimal.

I know that lots of girls want that 'tan' look, but it is really worth the consequences later in life? Your skin will deteriorate at a much faster pace if you start doing that young. Not to mention the possible health risks. Do you really want cancer all so you can look tan? Not worth it in my opinion.

Tan lines are normal. The only way to avoid them is to sunbath nude but unless you have a private back yard, I wouldn't do it.
