Me personally, I rarely REALLY like guys. But when I do, it’s almost impossible to easily move on, and distance just makes it worse. Just like how most guys have a limit of how much they’ll put up with a girl, unless they really like her they’ll deal with a LOT more.

If it’s just a crush, i’ll move on very fast. Crushes aren’t really ever based on real emotions rather, created scenario’s of emotions.
