I always look at the girls while walking on the street. I don't quite understand why some people like it and some don't. how can i understand this? Does it bother or please you when men look at you?

It's a bit of a mixed bag. Something I feel that a lot of men don't understand is that we feel threatened by male attention - at least, from strangers, or from random guys on the street.

Rape is a serious threat, and men can be rather unpredictable.

From some guys I've talked to, it seems like guys enjoy female attention regardless of if it's from strangers primarily because they don't feel threatened at all.

It's the same for catcalling - imagine if a woman whistled as you walked by and commented on your muscles. You'd probably feel flattered and happy.

But when a guy does that to one of us, there's a subtle threat underlying it. Not on purpose, most of the time, but still there.

You can understand this by examining the man better. A man who intends to rape appears more insidious and dangerous. Men who do not have such a thought and look only for pleasure seem more innocent. and they are indeed innocent. the only thing missing is that they don't have a regular sex life

The most common listed characteristic shared by rapists wasn't aggression - it was desperation. Which is a sad state of our society, but ultimately any expressed desire or other pleasure that isn't expressed with restraint (as the lack of restraint certainly isn't a good sign) from a stranger can be a bit frightening.
