I’ve heard a lot that guys lose interest when a girl shows too much interest in them. Is it really true?

Nope. This is untruth spread by your fellow women who don't want to approach men because they feel it beneath them. But a lot of them don't want you doing it either because then that would put them at a disadvantage in dating (or so they think). You have to understand it's all a competition to these types of women. I'm sure you know the type.

Now it is possible that by showing you like a guy he might pull back. But I promise you, that guy was going to do that anyhow. You didn't change anything by making overtures to him.

I like it as there's no misunderstanding of their intentions, no mistaken ideas of what's she thinking or going on. Now if the guy is not interested in the girl then he's not going to be receptive to her and just move on. But how many times has a guy made a fool of himself misunderstanding a woman's true intentions and embarrassed himself and was labeled as a jerk or something worse.
