From a common sense and simple observational point of view: a person who have breasts, a vagina, usually smaller body than a male, and generally speaking, can get pregnant (humans figured out all these things way before we had science, through simple observation and instinct)
From a biology and evolutionary point of view: a person with XX chromosomes that has the reproductive characteristics of getting pregnant and giving birth to offspring (a definition with a scientific approach, now that we have scientific knowledge and vocabulary)
