Does it seem like just about every girl has a side rib tattoo these days?

they've been popular for a while but seems like they've surged in popularity in last couple years. everytime i look through my social media i notice new girls with one i hadn't noticed before. and same thing at the bar or gym , been girls with them i wasn't even aware had one.

will of course always be some people who will never get a tattoo or never get one in that location so not every girl has one but sure seems like the % that does is much higher than anyone would of ever though possible a few years ago.

Tats are so pointless. Women get them just because other people do. But I don't think tats augment a woman's appearance. On the contrary, they detract from a woman's natural beauty. They're like graffiti on a pristine monument.

Never saw one who had one in real life they mostly have arms tattoo when they got one and majority doesn't (but after i Live in the countryside so)

tattoo's used to be less common in rural areas here 5 or 10 years ago but seem to be much more mainstream now and even smaller places have tattoo places downtown now

I live in France so it might be why, tattoo are not popular in the countryside and in big cities when people have some they don't have a lot just tiny one on the arms (like some writing often).

some of the girls here like side rib tats cause they can hide them when needed such as at work / parents or whoever right but then show them off at the beach or a party. so your first impression here might be that not a lot of them have tattoo's but a lot do and just aren't showing them off a lot

here tattoo are not frowned upon in work, they're authorized everywhere so there's so reasons to hide them and they never do, tattoo on neck and hands for cashier or sales worker are authorized.
Ribs tattoo also sound very outdated to me. Not the trends for tattoo anymore (face neck and hands are pretty popular for the young) and the arms is the most common

Haha, I don’t have a tattoo, I sometimes get some things painted on my ribs or upper chest and that’s it.

i used a fairly large sample size of girls i know from real life /social media ( but all 18 - 30's ) and kept getting the same numbers when i tried to come up with a % earlier this year. for tattoo's in general in any location i kept getting around 50 % , for the side rib tattoo area i kept getting around 25 % but keeps going up as more get one there

so my theory was around 1 in 4 girls ( 18-30 ) have one there , but equals a lot of side rib tattoos when you consider how many girls that age are getting tattoos now

What made you want to do a research project on rib tattoos? Lol

it wasn't a project , just went through girls i knew and came up with those numbers , just interested in that location for whatever reason more than other locations

the numbers were pretty consistent , can assume in a typical social group of 5 or 6 girls that 1 or 2 of them has one now days

some of the girls with them are younger , around here they really start to get common in the 18-19 age group , but true a lot of the girls with them got them when younger so a lot of the 20 somethings with one might of got it when 19
