What is your comment regarding a woman who always talks about herself in a sense of getting better ( trying to become healthier, better mum, ...) does not talk about general topics.

I'd consider it evasive, fearful and a type of mirroring where you try to portray your ideal self to others so that they will allow you to see it in how they view you.

As such it also states what the person really wants. Someone to validate them and see them for who they want to be. To believe in them without having to explain things.

Must be tiring.

Seeing a psychiatrist is pretty cool nowadays. If at all feasible I recommend it to anyone who thinks it would help or might be amusing.

She's insecure. But she can be also self aware. What does she talk about? What are the areas she wants to improve at? Does she have sense of accomplishment at all? Does she expect special treatment based on her insecurities?
