So I’ve been going to this lady that cuts my hair for a year and a half now. And sometimes I get a feeling that she likes me. She always remembers what I told her. She even went out of her way to text me, and find my phone number out of an app I use to book with her. She got mad at me when I booked her worker instead of her one day, and she took it personal. And cancelled my appointment with her worker, and booked it with me instead when I didn’t tell her to do that. She also knows I work a lot, and she told me she can even cut my hair at night for me whenever I want. She also tells me what she thinks of my hair, and if she likes it or not. I just have weird feelings about this.

I was a receptionist at my uncle’s barber shop for almost 4 years in college, so I’d say I have a pretty decent understanding in how the lingo amongst barbers/hairdressers work. So unless you have specifically taken interest in her and want to ask her out, then I wouldn’t advise you read too deeply into those actions specifically.
They had a saying at my shop: “a client is only your client when they’re in your chair”, which came from fussing amongst each other over who took who’s client. It’s hard to maintain clientele.
Even loyal customers can try someone else out on a fluke and like their styling better. Hairdressers do everything in their power to avoid that, and it keeps the peace at work when they aren’t fighting over clients as well.
All this to say, I believe she does her due diligence with you to maintain loyalty. I’m not saying she can’t see you as a friend, or even more. This is just me speaking as someone who knows what happens behind the scenes and how these people think. They’ve got booth rent to pay, and it all relies on keeping you folks happy and coming back.

This is very obvious. So either you have great hair and she has a real fetish.. Or she likes u a lot and so she would do extra steps to be with you. The part of night cutting was quite the invitation
