Why do I see women at the gym, school give me weird looks sometimes They look shocked if I were to walk by them?

Sometimes at the gym or when I’m in school I will see girls look at me sometimes with a weird look, in school I’ve seen girls on my side in the hallway just stop walking and completely stare at me even tilt their head when I continue walking. I’m still stuck with a question are they attracted to me, or could it be something else. I’ve done research and the only thing that It really would come to is me looking confident and I don’t think I’m that confident in public.

I’m an introvert and it can be difficult to ever ask a girl out.

As a guy in a similar situation, I'd like to help, but I need more information. As a guy with an uncommon light hair colour and masculine features I get wanted and unwanted attention; the thing is, you can usually tell based on how women act towards you.

If they choose to stand around you or sit beside you, it's positive. If they stop like a deer in the headlights, it's possible you look like a threat to them. A good way to start is to assess how well you're caring for yourself, if you have dark circles around your eyes, they'll think poorly of you. So sleep, drink more bottled water, and keep your hair washed (combed and air dried, not styled and hair-dried).

Yesterday a girl showed interest in me as soon as she sat down on the train; she was sat sideways with her leg on the bench pointed at me, and looking at me. When our side of the carriage was empty I finally mustered up the courage to ask her how her day went, we talked about horses and her horse riding, and I left with her mobile number. For an introverted shy guy, I relied entirely on her interest in me and good personal presentation (hair, clothes, posture, manners). I used to be so shy I would stutter to cashiers in shops, now I can talk to strangers in public and even stand up for myself. You can too.

Sometimes I notice a lot of eye contact in the hallways in school and it’s always women. Once a girl saw me in the hallway then stocked me outside of the class. I’m always nervous to ask girls out so I feel like that makes me more mysterious.

Eye contact can be used in every way imaginable; it's all about the facial expression that goes along with it. Do they hover near you, smile & stroke their hair? Because in my experience, these are the signs that symbolise interest. Looking at you and stroking their hair as they pass may signify attraction but not necessarily interest (I've never asked them, but it's a likely hunch).

Eye contact from many women sounds good, but you need to work on how you hold yourself. Unfortunately, I can say from experience, it is very hard to radiate confidence; but you can follow me in adopting some of the behaviours.

Remember this; A man is never in a hurry, walk with a small gate, like your lower legs are heavy and carry weight. Don't stomp, that's not what we're going for. Walk with your lower legs feeling heavy and slightly twist your upper torso away from the side you just stepped with.

The twist isn't necessary and is easy to overdo, so you can skip that part, but giving your legs weight and walking slowly is a gesture of confidence. Make sure to drink plenty of purified water too, it really helps; in my area the tap water makes men girly, so be cautious.

Imagine they have weight and relax your lower leg, that's what we're going for. Walking rigidly and quickly is a sign of anxiety and dependence, which is what we're trying to avoid.

Some women may be giving you strange looks because they find you attractive or because they are checking you out. However, others may be just glancing at you and not actually thinking anything specific. It's hard to know for sure what women are thinking in public, so try not to worry about it too much.
It can be hard to approach women in public if you're an introvert, but try to keep an open mindset and be confident in yourself. Don't be afraid to start a conversation with a woman and show her that you're interested in getting to know her better.
