Girls, do you ever use Craigslist?

This is a weird question, but I've bought and sold a ton of things on Craigslist and it's been nothing but guys. Do women avoid Craigslist, or is it just a coincidence?

I never use those kinds of sites, yeah mostly because I don’t trust people around here. Too many weirdos. Some police stations here let you meet up for sales in their parking lots - if I had to use Craigslist I would do it there.

Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, e-Bay, I avoid them all. If I ever need a broken cell phone, I know can get one on e-Bay from some dude in Hong Kong.

Ebay is actually one of the better sites, when it comes to buying chinese crap. Aliexpress is ok too, I prefer both of these over amazon because usually one of these has your item cheaper than all others, and they have proper agents available to talk to 24/7 and unlike amazon, if they send you absolute garbage that isn't worth a penny, then you can get refunded without having to ship it back to the seller. Usually the delivery service costs more than the garbage being shipped.

I'm not into all these dozens of other chinese sites, only on some rare occasions I even look beyond the two mentioned.

One thing they do is sell used items labeled new, for which you can get refunded easily. And label more than there is (storage space, energy capacity, rated power etc.) which if you have a way to prove to customer service then ebay and aliexpress easily refund, the seller doesn't receive money until the order is complete and past the refund period.

You can also contact sellers through made-in-China and alibaba and then continue via email. If you make your payment via PayPal, then there's also a purchase protection where you can get refunded if needed.

The only problem is trying to buy something illegal, then you have to risk getting scammed. Otherwise it's quite safe on these websites where purchase protection works.

I recently bought lithium 18650 cells on ebay local, Box with 100 pieces and they were all brand new with over 8 watt hours each, for only 60usd, that's like factory price in china. If it didn't match description I would've gotten a refund.

I think a lot of women avoid things like this in Kijiji because there's so many creepy guys on there. I've used both sites and had no issues and look forward to using them again but I understand why women don't
