Why some girls don't wear socks with their shoes?

My brother's new girlfriend wears no socks in sneakers. Why she does that? Whenever she sits somewhere like restaurants or public parks she removes her shoes because she says her feet are sweaty and hot.

Probably a fad. I've seen my share of fads over the years. Some are kind of fun, like having a mix & match day at school when you can wear two different colored socks, or whatever you want to come up with. Brand names were a thing. Like you had to have Keds tennis shoes or you weren't in. Girls back then used to go barefoot when not in school. So not wearing socks is nothing.

Because she's an idiot. Her feet are sweaty an hot because she's not wearing socks which is what provides the breathable layer between the two items, plus if they are merino wool then they're antimicrobial and that'll reduce the surface level of blockage on her feet, which would otherwise result in more heat.

It's also a lot easier to wash socks than shoes, so she's a nasty idiot at that.

i work 12-14 hours a day on my feet most of those hours in healthcare and when im not at work, i dont wear them either. i dont like socks to be honest. she might suffer from a condition called "hot feet"

I have that. My feet get hot, even in cold weather. But it is a problem mostly at night. I can't sleep when my feet are hot.

Sometimes it's just a personal preference thing. If no one has an issue then it's ok, but if it makes you uncomfortable you should talk to her. Also, some people have sweating problems and maybe that's her issue, but she probably doesn't do it with the intent of pissing anyone off.

You can get blisters doing this. Tennis shoes are meant to be worn with socks, to prevent blisters
