Why are girls so confusing?

A girl was on a date with me recently and asked me to get her something bc she was going to be a bit late, so I order some bread sticks (we went to some new Italian restaurant) then when she arrived she got mad at me for not getting her a salad.

how was I supposed to know, she never mentioned anything :/

at the end of the the date (we had a pretty good time) she offers to split the bill Ann’s so I (nearly broke as I am) skeptically, but willingly agreed.

She looked in her bag and she said “oops, must’ve forgotten my wallet” and smiled at me. I rolled my eyes and payed the whole bill.

I pretty much turned her down after that, I mean, at least be honest, I would’ve cared.

I don't know I just don’t understand people at times 🙄

You sound awesome, and good for you for taking a girl out to an Italian restaurant! It sounds like she wanted you to bake the lead by having the table set with food before she gets there. Honestly I would have done the same thing. I don’t know the persons likes. I would make sure I have the appetizer on the table with a glass of water.

although I’m going to make this fool proof for you. Is it a woman ever put you in this position again just throw in a “ well I’m not sure what your fancy and there’s some pretty good options so I’m going to send you the menu and I’ll be sure that plate is on the table ready! ( grown in humor) hot and ready…oh a salad then it will be cold and ready!

It’s honest it’s direct, and it gives her a chance to be specific.

I would avoid the girl that needs the validation of you “getting her vibe” if you show good instinct on what she wants then you must like her. Skip that chick. Go for the girl that could just tell you straight up.

As for the wallet thing it’s always suspicious, especially when someone offers to pay, but then forgot their wallet. Lol totally understandable but its safe to not assume especially if she’s running late. But I also know that a lot of people will offer to pay hoping they will hear a “ don’t worry I got you” especially on a first date. 😂

If you don’t know, don’t try to guess deliberately ask. Save yourself from the guessing game.
