Why do girls keep literally giving me every sign that they like me only to then reject me?

The only sign you should be looking for is (1) she's asked you out, or stated her romantic interest, or (2) you have asked her out and she responded in the affirmative. Ambiguity just translates to wasted time. A lot of women behave in ways that may seem romantic with platonic friends, and they may be wondering why their friend disappeared.
