She could be genuinely and coincidentally interested in some of the same things and people you are. (Social media sites are designed that way, to make endless suggestions, so your interests would likely get recommended to her.)

Girls are things like shy and insecure, and believe that if they reach out to guys that they are "low value" and won't be respected, and will be manipulated because they've shown interest. Ugh. Good luck with that.
