Why would a girl in a relationship stare at a guy everyday?

Long story short, there is a girl who has a boyfriend (that’s barely seeing with her) that has been staring at me every time she sees me. This is to the point where I stop looking and people around me tell that she’s looking when I’m not looking. I know I know people stare…. I’m only asking cause it’s everyday when I’m not looking. Sometimes she even holds eye contact if I stare first.

Dude that's hella suspicious. My first thought is she's into you for sure and might be having second thoughts about her dude. A few possibilities:

- She thinks you're hot and can't help looking. Even girls with bfs notice other guys.

- Maybe she's bored or not getting enough attention from her boyfriend. So she enjoys the thrill of flirting with you to spice things up.

- Could be she's trying to make you jealous of her having a boyfriend so you'll show interest in her. Chicks play games like that.

- Possibly she's just not that into him anymore and is scoping you out as a potential new guy.

I'd take the staring as a confident boost for sure. And it doesn't hurt to smile and say what's up if you see her looking. But I wouldn't go too far since she does got a boyfriend still. Play it cool for now and see if she escalates at all. Could mean she's trying to make a move once she dumps him!
