What do you think are the most likely intentions of a married woman when she gives a single man more attention after he calls her beautiful?

Is it as simple as she's trying to cheat? I'm sure that happens sometimes, but is it almost all the time? What do you think is/are the most likely intention (s)?

So I can say I have been in the position you describe. I have been that single guy who complimented or flirted with married women and it oddly seemed to make them want to talk to me more. But it has always been with older married women. Sometimes they are looking to cheat, but I think other times they feel very flattered that a younger single man finds them that hot. It might even give them an ego boost or excite them sexually, even if they're not exactly trying to sleep with you.

Women are very emotional creatures, it's why they constantly get manipulated people can use words to fool people and if it makes them emotionally happy, it can be effective, the compliment probably made her happy and she sticks around in case there's more compliments for her on the table.
