I'm so condused with the question or lack thereof. You asked a girl if she had feelings for you and? This is where you lost me. She's trying to what? Have feelings? You don't try to have feelings. You do or you don't. She can't be in between. To me that means she doesn't know what she wants and isn't going to commit to you at the moment. You have to decide now whether it is worth waiting for and risking she won't decide in your favor or not. Hope she does.

She is trying to have feelings for you? If she is trying, then she does not really have any feelings, at least no positive ones in my opinion.

I think that there is no room for misunderstanding here. If she is trying to have feelings for you, then she obviously did not think about that problem to start with.

Feelings are not something that come just like that, in a blink of eye. They have to be earned. Actions and deeds may cause someone to start to have feelings. Those would be genuine feelings. However, if someone says that "he/she is trying to have feelings", that simply means that those feelings are not available and it is up to you to make her change her point of view. But stating that she is trying to have feelings is not really a good sign.
