I'm into guns, especially sniper rifles. Believe me, it's not so easy to follow my hobbies. The competitions, new models and everything around (i. e. scopes, manually prepared ammo and so on).

And now imagine that my husband has totally no interest in guns... He is open enough to allow me to ramble as much as I want and spend money on my hobby. I don't really expect him to know what exactly rifle I have at home :D

Depends on how far into the relationship they are. If I only been in a relationship with a guy for a week, I probably won't remember his favorite sports team off the top of my head but if we been together for a couple of months + then yes not knowing your partner's favorite sports team means you're not listening/ paying attention.
