First of who is the parent, I did not know parents had to ask permission to tell their kids how to carry themselves like respectable young ladies, and if she's over21 ask you can do is respect her, may not like her going out on public dressed that way but remember you water once young yourself, and I'm sure you mom did not fully agree with your antics you were doing either, add parents we need to respect our kids always remember they're new to this world, and it's the responsibility of the parent to teach them show them how to exist here, let them grow explore as there choose with your guidance of course leading showing by example, not telling them don't do this don't do that, allow kids to be kids, introduce them to this world let them choose his there way to live they're lives in it, you have 18 to 22 years with them to give influence them to be good citizens and Stewart's of this world our only home here, after they turn 22 they belong to the world not for you to relive you life through them it's their turn to live here as we have, talk with your daughter don't alienate or push her away these are the precious moments that brings you closer together and I'm later hard laugh at as you remember the times take her to lunch or dinner and both of you talk laugh and come to a understanding no fuss no yelling but mutual respect, see kids don't need a best friend they have plenty of those, what they need is parents being parents, take care

No, you shouldn't. Explain to her that both guys and girls will be attracted to her regardless of whether she wears skimpy clothes (if they're going to be attracted to her at all). Ask her about the girls at her school that guys have crushes on, and ask if those girls wore skimpy clothes in order for the crushes to develop. If she unfortunately responds yes, tell her that it's just a coincidence, and that you've seen men giving fully-clothed women way more attention than skimpy-clothed women, not because they necessarily prefer fully clothed, but because male attraction is not so simple to manipulate just because you start wearing skimpy clothes. And, as men do prefer a woman fully dressed (for relationship material), they will treat you better than if you dress skimpy, because when you dress fully clothed, you're more of a challenge. If you dress skimpy, then the only reason guys may give you attention is that they're trying to get sex.

I have no clue what her age is but sorta irrelevant. It isn't appropriate and you know it. Doesn't matter what her friend does. But I mean come on! You're 47 and her MOTHER.
