Girls, if you're out dancing with friends, how common is it to get asked by a guy to dance or he joins your group and what is your usual answer?

it depends on what parties u go on. but i think it's not as common as it used to be but i don't know specifically cuz i don't party much

if i am on campus it’s not super common. probably becuase i tend to be unapproable and uninterested in the boys at my school. but nearly everytime i have gone out to a bar a guy asks me to dance, sometimes multiple guys ask in one night. i almost always say yes cuz i like dancing but some guys just wanna bump and grind and sometimes im feeling it, and when i’m not i literlaly just walk away.

ALSO!! It’s nice to ask a girl to dance. some guys just start touching girls and assume it will be ok. this is an automatic no no (unless ur like super hot, sorry it’s the truth 😭)

I know a lot of guys end up groping women when you accept their offer to dance, it's almost like they think your giving them permission. I've had friends do that and it pisses me off. One other question, if a guy asks you to dance but isn't your type, would you say yes? If you do say yes and he turns out to be a good dancer, would you continue dancing with him or would you worry that you might be "leading him on"? I guess that's two questions.

honestly i probably wouldn’t dance with him if he was like SOOO not what i’m into. i also don’t reallt worry about leading guys on bc maybe the heart will grow fonder.. i like to give people chances. but if a guy asks to dance i just assume he’s gonna wanna just yk.. like.. grind. and to say yes to that i have to actuallt he attracted to them
