Do women really sometimes feel threatened by other women?

There’s a coworker who sucks up to the boss. She’s stunningly beautiful. She acts really cold and distant towards me. My mum said she might be feeling threatened by me, because I’m beautiful too and almost as pretty as she is. I’m Autistic, so it never occurred to me. Also, I don’t get jealous of other women. Does this actually happen?

Some people are just like that where they will put on their best face to management and nobody else. Maybe she doesn’t feel like she has anything to gain by befriending you or maybe she just doesn’t feel any kind of connection to you and might not have put any thought into it. It could be insecurity on her part, indifference etc, no way of truly knowing what is going on in her head.

Unfortunately yes, they get so irritated by you they start willing to see any little detail you do wrong to make them feel better about themselves.

Um, ye-ah… More common than not girls, girls are the worst with other girls, even compared to guys. At least you know usually know where we’re coming from and what we want.

Most definitely all the time.. That's why I trip over the "women need to stick together and support each other" cause unfortunately that's never happened and never will..

I personally don't feel threatened i love being friends with women but some girls never showed the same interest. Of course i found friends now but a few years ago i was friendless

I can only go by what I've seen and heard from the women I've interacted with, but it seems like most women feel threatened by other women, to some degree.

personaly i do if she's prettier than me and not very nice at the same time. if a girl is noticeable prettier than me but is nice i love her, if she's mean i'm so jealous and hate her

Yes definitely. Women, especially insecure ones will always feel threatened.

Oh hell yes, they see you as competition. The crazy thing is that women in their 40s still act this way. It just shows of inseure they are.
