Why do some women feel threatened or bothered by how other woman dress?

I’ve noticed that sometimes women judge or even get angry at other women just for their clothing choices—wearing bikini at a beach or wearing shorts in hot weather. Why does this happen? Is it jealousy, insecurity, cultural influence, or something else? I’d love to hear different perspectives. People often say it’s about religion, but I’m not so sure, especially when the criticism comes from someone that seems bitter, hateful, judge mental and without any sense of compassion.

Sometimes it’s the destination. My last holiday in Greece was in a quite conservative area near a monastery. The local population wasn’t too happy about foreign women running around topless or in the skimpiest bikinis. 🤷‍♂️

It's because they know people dress in revealing clothing for unhealthy validation to cope with insecurities.
