28male. Basically, a woman at the gym looks at me a lot but I smiled at her once or twice and she just looks away. But then BAM, 5 mins later she's still looking. Interested, creeped out, or something else? Nothing is certain but all opinions welcome.

Ya so she was looking at me HARD today and actually held eye contact and smiled back. Went and talked to her. 100% interested.

It's kinda tough to say for sure man. A few things it could be:

- She could be interested but maybe shy/awkward around guys she thinks are cute. Smiling at her made her nervous so she looked away.

- It's possible she thinks you noticed her looking and got embarrassed. Girls don't always like being "caught" checking guys out.

- Maybe she just zones out sometimes at the gym and happens to look your way without meaning anything by it.

- Could also just be trying to size up the competition at the gym, see who's in better shape than her lol.

I'd say if you wanna test the waters more, you could try smiling at her again tomorrow and see if she smiles back or looks away quicker. Or maybe even glance over and if she's looking already, give a little wave.

If she smiles/waves back she's probably open to at least saying hi. But if not, don't wanna crowd her space either. Hard to say for sure dude, girls are confusing! Give it another day or two to test the waters more.

Thanks guy. Those scenarios all crossed my mind. We chatted once a few weeks ago and I felt the spark, she may've. But then the next day kind of ignored my existance. When I settle on my instinct I sense her interest in me but is shy. The biggest confusing factor is her female friend gives me dirty looks a lot haha. Her guy friend is always trying to talk to me, but he talks to about 70% of the gym goers.
Either way, I'm on vacation right now, will talk to her if she still looking when I get back.
I don't know the gym is tricky, put me in a bar or party and its easy to tell. But gym? Eee gad yo I don't know. Sometimes I see people's progress and mighr look interested myself when really I'm just hyped that they can bench way more today. Then they did a few months aho.

Ahhh yeah dude gyms can definitely be tricky territory. A lot of looking but who knows what it really means, feels. With her ignoring you that one time I'd say play it cool for now. Let her do some more glancing before making any moves.

Her friend glaring at you is a little suss too, maybe she put her up to it haha. Girls can be catty. I feel you though, putting that spark to the test in a more social setting would give better clues.

Don't stress it while you're on vacation bro, just enjoy your time off. When you're back maybe try smiling and saying what's up in passing, see if she acts shy again or seems keen for a chat. No need to force anything, let it come natural. You prob got nice muscles she's admiring too!

Just play it by ear my man. If she's still checking you out regular after a while, might be worth a little small talk to gauge the chemistry again. But for now chill and don't overthink - gym crushes can be slippery beasts!
