Why do some people film themselves when they’re crying and post it on social media? Do you think it seems attention seeking?

I’m so uncomfortable about that. There’s this girl I know and she claims she got out of an abusive marriage (been divorced twice by 29…) and she takes videos of herself crying when she was in her marriage but I don’t see tears sometimes. I don't know if she’s lying. Like if someone is gonna come find you and beat you why are you taking a video of yourself crying…?

I emphatize with victims of abuse as I have been abused as well. However when I am distressed I am distressed and can’t think of anything else. Your mind like freezes if you’re truly traumatized.

I’m genuinely questioning if this girl who I know does this is a narcissistic or sociopath. There’s the crying videos and then her other content is about how the people around her now are so positive and amazing and to be careful who you’re around. To me that shows a lack of introspection…like everyone else around you has to stay in line in order for you to feel good about yourself.

Yes, because they have to rehearse their lines and edit the video and give it a flashy opening. It's obviously fake tears.

It's because women like that have an empty and boring personality. They usually date guys that are pieces of shit or claim a guy is abusive, so they can get sympathy. It's the sympathy that makes them feel special. When other people tell them they are so brave or strong it makes them feel special like they are important.

When they are out of the abusive relationship and there's no more conflict they start to feel empty again. Even when there is nothing wrong in their relationship they will try to find any kind of conflict just to say the guy is abusive. Again it makes them feel special when people give them sympathy because their personality is just empty.

A good woman is okay with a normal relationship because she's confident in herself. A lazy boring empty woman needs conflict. That's why an empty picks guys that are loud, childish and obvious because it takes attention away from how childish she is.

I completely empathize with people who’ve been through abuse as I myself went though abuse. BUT I don’t publicize it on social media. It’s very personal…and you never know where the content can even end up. Have to be careful.

And she has a business where she needs clients (she runs a business where she takes videos and reels for clients) so maybe her business was failing and she needed some traction again?
