Girls, She kissed me on the cheek on our first date and never showed a sign of dislike to me. Why doesn't she answer my texts?

I had a date with a girl who I absolutely fell for. We really hit it off well. As I hugged her goodbye for the night, she grabbed my head and kissed me on the cheek. I told her I would text her when I got home. I haven't heard anything for four days. Just a simple "I've been busy." What is going on?

She might actually be busy. You said she doesn't answer your texts but said she was busy so she did answer. She might be busy with school or work or whatever she does during the week. I know that I can get the same way with classes and homework. Don't sweat it if things went well. Just send a text saying you had fun and would like to do it again when she has free time. Then you just be patient because the ball is in her court. If she reaches out to you then you know her lack of texting back was because she really was busy.

I don't think so. At least I wouldn't yet if she at least responded with she is busy. By your description of the date sounds like it was a good one and she wouldn't have kissed you if she was going to then ghost you.

So if it were me I would maybe Thursday send a text saying something like hey just wanted to reach out and see if you had weekend plans. I know you are busy so I will wait to hear from you when you are free. Something like that... close to the weekend to get her thinking about it. Then see what happens.

A kiss on the cheek after the first date is already a big move. Personally, I do not endorse that kind of gesture because one does not really know anything about the other person and it gives off the wrong signal, as you do realize it yourself.

You mention that you would text her when you get home but you fail to tell us if you indeed did text her. That is perhaps the reason why she does not answer since she is still waiting for your text.

Now, it could be that she is busy and that she did not find the time to text you or then, the 1st. date did not really go as well as you thought it did.

Whatever the reason, it seems to me that there was no real chemistry because if there was, she would have found the time to text something else.

She might be busy but not everyone feels the need to communicate that especially in a certain timeframe.

She might be waiting for you to say something more than just saying you got in, but people that don't do a follow up to "I got in" they usually don't actually care about your safety nor there's really. Ask her how everything is going. If she doesn't answer in an acceptable time fame you create then write her off.

She might just have been being polite and didn't want to outright reject you if she doesn't like you that much.
