As a woman, have you ever felt like you hated men?

I hate certain types of people... But hate is a strong word that I try not to use too frequently.

I don't care for abusive men, those who have no care or respect for women. Those who think women are less than them or deserve less. Who believe women are property. Or won't bat an eye at rape, assault, and the like.

But that's not because they're men. But because I see them as horrible people.

Same as if they were women because there are some types of women I don't care for either.

Yeah, hate is too strong of a word to use for any individual. There are people that I know that have wronged me and disagree with my opinions but for me to hate somebody. I can't even think of an average occurrence that happens every day. That would make me hate somebody.

I just expressed disappointment in certain individuals. I don't think I could ever use the term. Hate to describe any one person or a group of people.

Just to be rambling here. As a kid, I flung the word 'hate' very easily, until a friend stopped me and told me that it was a very powerful word, and she was right. Since then I've used it less and less.
I think about it a lot.

Hating a whole demographic is wild to me.

Yeah it's hard for a normal person to express why they hate somebody. Like if a girl is going off on Twitter about how she hates men usually its because she just broke up with one. And even then she doesn't hate the person she just hates the way she's feeling. And feelings are very fleeting.

I can honestly say that there is nobody that I hate only people that I disagree with but a lot of times people turn their disagreements into hate. And that's because they don't know any better.

Also, a lot of people can not handle being disagreed with. It's dangerous when the internet is a place where you can just get so much one-sided discussions and ignore or block those you disagree with.
So we turn frail when it comes to meeting someone who doesn't have the same opinion.

Yeah I had a friend whose sister claims she hated me just because she knew I wasn't a fan of abortion. But she probably still hates me till this day even though that was 10 years ago. So there's no room for treating people like humans anymore just because you disagree with somebody. It's like you have to hate them for the rest of your life, which is the most ignorant thing I've ever seen.

But those same people would claim to be the most open-minded individuals

Yeah, I've noticed that a lot of people can't handle a different opinion. It's almost as if they're not aware that people think differently than them. But I like hearing different opinions no matter how correct or how wrong they are. It's just interesting to me but other people see it as an attack on their soul or something.

Being met with different opinions can also be healthy, and it can challenge your worldview.

I only have a problem when people want to control others' lives and choices.

Men are individuals and there are just as many horrible women as there are horrible men. The key is to meet the good ones.

Just like once upon a time it was socially acceptable to hate black people or hate jewish people. If they lived back then they would hate those people too
