I have been spending a lot of time with this friend and we have opened up about everything and complimented each other. She’s flirted with me a few times but she told me she she’s flirted with friends but lately it’s felt like there’s been more than that. She’ll give me a lingering gaze and touched my veins and compliment me. Once she was like “I can’t believe we just touched hands” and someone got awkward and she claimed she was “joking”.
I went to her family’s house on Saturday and her and I went off to the side a few times to talk and drink and smoke a cigar that we shared. I ended up leaving around 9 pm because I was tired and also cold and I texted her that I made it home safe and she didn’t answer until the next morning ( she usually answers right away ). We didn’t rlly text the next day and when I saw her at work she told our other friend how I left her house early. Also she told me how after I left, a guy that I had been socializing with at her house was interested in me and asked if I was single. My friend told me that she told him I had just gotten out of a relationship and also she told me she played the bi card and told him my sexuality. ( I’m bisexual and so is she ). She didn’t tell me this info until 2 days after. I get off work at 8 and we were going to do something with another friend Friday but the other friend cancelled so my friend asked if her and I wanted to just hang. She came back to our job to meet me at 8 and we went to my campus and then planned to go to a bar but I forgot my id. She then looked at me and said we could go back to her place and watch a movie and chill. Once, I told her my ex invited me over for a movie and she said that was code for sex. We went to my place and she told me my beer matched my outfit and she liked it but I don't know if it was a compliment. We talked while we drank and there were a few silences that felt awkward ( in a good way). She didn’t make a move and left after finishing her beer. Why?

Hmm that's a tricky situation. From what you described it does seem like she was into you and dropping hints. But some girls just like the attention and flirting without actually following through.
A few thoughts - maybe she changed her mind last second and got nervous. Or she could have been testing the waters to see how you'd react without fully committing yet. It's also possible something else is going on personally for her that isn't about you.
I wouldn't keep obsessin over why she didn't make a move exactly. Just play it cool for now - don't double text her or anything desperate. Act normal next time you see her. Maybe subtly flirt back to see how she responds. But don't force it or get your hopes up too much either. She may just see you as a friend. Feel it out more and see what happens naturally. Don't take it personal if nothing happens right away either. Just focus on having fun together in the moment!
