Does emotional intelligence mean your girl is emotional and you should just get it?

Emotional intelligence is about how aware you are of your emotions, how observant you are in understanding and recognising others emotions, how vigilant you are about handling certain situations with people in going through certain feelings and emotions.

Then why even wonder if you are so sure. Women are seen to be more emotionally intelligent as they are naturally designed to cater a child's emotional needs.
But I assume in your case you don't believe it. In relationships it has nothing to do with men or women.

So men are less emotional intelligent because they aren't with the child? You do realize that biologically speaking women are the primary care taker of the child. So isn't that all mammals that breasts feed. Males lions are less emotionally intelligent than female lions by your logic.

Yes! Though some level of intelligence and awareness or morals and ethics is what makes a human different from being just a mere animal.

In case you are not aware, in many animal species like rabbits and hamsters and I guess birds are too, males are being separated from the female while she is pregnant and even when the babies are dependent on there mother to be fed and stand properly the father is being kept separate because the male animal is not mature enough to understand it's connection to the baby therefore he might kill the baby.

Emotional intelligence is the ability to interpret, and control emotions to communicate effectively. It is not rocket science.

But if that's the definition how come girls think that guys don't have it and they do?

Because girls would be the first ones to shut down and not communicate how they actually feel
