I am confused why she said that?

I have been pursuing a girl and she clearly knows I like her. Recently when I talked with her friend and reached the topic about her, her friend joked about how she said I am more compatible with other girl (I’m not completely interested) whom I am close with at office. I’m confused why she said that. It is because she is not interested in me or testing my reaction? Or is it just a joke?

It's hard to say for sure dude, chicks can be confusing sometimes with that type of stuff. A few possibilities:

- She could've just been joking around with her friend and wasn't being serious. Girls like to tease each other.

- Maybe she's not totally sure how she feels about you yet and was testing the waters to see your reaction. See if you'd still be into her or move on.

- Possibly she's actually more into that other girl and wanted to subtly hint at it without rejecting you outright.

- Could also be she's jealous of you being close with the office girl and wanted to create some distance or drama.

My advice - play it cool for now. Don't stress and definitely don't confront her or the friend about it. Just stay acting normal with both of them. Over time pay attention to how she acts around you - is she still flirty or trying to spend time with you? That will tell you more where her head is at. Don't lose hope yet bro, chicks can be complicated!

They could’ve talked about it, how “flirty” or close you are with the other girl. That might have them be on the lookout as to if you really do like her. Or ur real intentions
